I’m a wife, mom, artist, photographer, and Bridgman, Michigan resident.
I am silly and can find some reason to laugh at any time. You can usually find me with a cup of coffee in hand. I love all things vintage and lace. My favorite color is pink, and I play the violin. I’m married to the man of my dreams (Phillip), and we have a wonderful son born at the end of 2017. We have a dog (Lola) and a cat (Buttons).
The Photography
I’ve been a professional photographer since 2009 and I absolutely love it! My favorite thing about photography is capturing memories and moments to last a lifetime. I try to embrace the subject matter and invoke raw feeling. I love shooting candid editorial-style photos where every detail of that moment can be preserved.
The Art
Ever since I was little, I was drawing and painting. My first studio was in my bedroom, experimenting with drawing and mixed media. Then, it moved into the garage, where I spent time dabbling in oils and acrylics. Now, I have a home office and studio where I spend my time painting with watercolors and experimenting with mixed media. I don’t have a favorite subject yet - but I really have found myself enjoying iconic scenes in Michigan’s great southwest.
